My daughter has an October birthday and with it being Halloween, we combined the 2 celebratory days to make treat “bags” out of pie pumpkins!
We bought pie pumpkins, a big bag of candy and I already had tons of cupcake grosgrain ribbon (from when I made and sold bows) to get us going on this too cute one-of-a-kind treat bag. We cut the tops off, scooped out the guts and cleaned them thoroughly. We filled each with candy and tied bows around the stem….VIOLA the cutest treat bag ever (and no one else had one like it)!
