So I am really loving this whole small house living! As much as I cried over selling our big old family home in order to build a custom home, I can’t believe how much at home this house feels!
Anyhoo, I did put the majority of our antiques into storage but am looking forward to the day I see them again and decorate our new home with them. I can’t even tell you how much we love this tripod floor lamp. I had been spying one at a higher end store for quite some time and never could bring myself to pull the trigger since I didn’t really even know where I would put it. Once we got here I knew exactly where it would go BUT then found a dupe on Amazon, click HERE to shop it.
My other fabulous Amazon find was this slip cover for my red.white gingham wing chair. The pattern didn’t go with this new house and I didn’t want to buy anything as I know I want new furniture for our build. I needed something cheap, cute and easy to get us through the next year and this slip cover did the trick PERFECTLY!
